MAF connector wiring diagram (colors) needed?

The connector that plugs into the MAF was broken during a battery change. I bought a new connector, which is supplied with 8 inches of wires to splice into the harness. My problem is that the new connector has all black wires, while the wiring harness has different colored wires (red, orange, black and yellow). I'm looking for a wiring diagram in order to make the correct wire connections?

Hi,

As far as the connector is concerned, take a look at picture one below. Note the retainer clip is at the top and the pins are numbered 5 - 1 from left to right.

Position the new sensor as shown. Pic 2 provides the wire colors and pin connector number. Note that pin 3 is not used.

So, the connector would be wired 1 yellow, 2 black, 3 not used, 4 orange, 5 red, from right to left. On the connector?

That is correct. However, the retainer side of the connector must be in the same position as shown above.
