Lug nuts

I bought aftermarket rims and am wondering how to find lug nuts that will fit them. It's all so confusing and I don't know anything about that kind of stuff. The rims that I bought are these https://www.ultrawheel.com/wheel/615/403-slalom/?finish=711&lugs=5
The lug nuts I had won't fit thru the hole on these rims so there is play in the wheel, so how do you know what to buy?

Hi,

I looked at the wheels you purchased, but I need to see behind the center cap to know what you are dealing with. Is it possible for you to take a pic of the wheel where the lug nuts go so I can see what it looks like?

Remove the center cap and get a close-up plus a pic of the lugs you presently have. I highlighted the cover I need to be removed in the attached pic.

The wheels look like they would take a standard tapered type lug nut.

I attached a pic below. Tell me if that is what you already have and why it won't fit. Looking at the wheel, it appears it should fit.

By the way, did you get the wheel studs installed?

They wouldn't take a mag nut with a washer? The studs are still the same as I had on it.

What happens is the lug nut doesn't fit through the opening and therefore can't be tightened all the way and there is play in the wheel.

Hi,

Have you contacted the seller to see what they recommend? They make different lugs that have a smaller outside diameter, but I don't want to tell you something and be wrong.

Take a look at the attached pic. It shows one with a smaller diameter, but it is a locking type. It requires a special tool to install and remove it (tighten and loosen).
