Lower radiator hose replacement

Is there an easy way to remove the inner hose clamp on the lower radiator hose? I am working on the car listed above it is a ZX3. I am having trouble finding the room to get a pair of pliers on the hose clamp itself.

That is where the cable style clamp pliers comes in handy. The head can snake into places that regular pliers cannot get. The long needle nose pliers can sometimes work as well but not as easy.
