Low oil pressure stop engine light turns on

When you did the pump did you replace or make sure the pick up screen was clean? If so we need to remove the sender and install a manual gauge (auto parts store will rent one for free in most cases) to see what the pressure actually is. I would try replacing the oil filter as well. Here is the sensor location in the diagrams below #24. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Hi Ken and thank you. I made sure there was no blockage on the pick up screen. cleaned it really well. I have replaced the oil pressure sensor also. New oil filter and fresh synthetic oil. After all that t started and idles well. When I rev up the rpm, that's when I will get the dreaded blinking red light and message to stop engine. I took the sensor out and hooked up an oil pressure tester gauge to the sensor port and I get about 35 psi. I think that is good. I just don't know why the light and message comes on when I get some rpm's. also, when I dropped the oil pan I found no debris in the pan at all.. I'm stumped.

The oil pressure sender wire goes directly into the instrument cluster so the cluster could be bad causing the issue 35 psi is fine for the oil pressure by the way. I would try testing to wire to the cluster here is a guide and the wiring diagram to help with the test. You want to do a omh's test. Also check it to ground as well to make sure there are no shorts anywhere. If it is okay I would get a used/rebuilt cluster.
