Hello,
The little amount of smoke out of the oil cap is a sign that the oil got heated more than usual.
To clarify, you added oil to the correct level. Now the vehicle won't start, right?
Just to make sure we cover all the possibilities, have you tried jump starting the vehicle?
It could have gone to a safety mode and shut off the engine to prevent further damage.
If the battery is good, then you would have a issue with either the starter, starter relay or ignition switch. Any of these items can keep the vehicle from cranking over and starting.

Firs you want the check the starter relay. It is located in the fuse block under the hood (see attached diagram below).
That relay can be tested. Please refer to this article on how to test relays:
