Cleared all the other miss fires but now I see that there is low compression on Cylinder #3 after clearing valves.

Hello,

What exactly was done to the vehicle? You mentioned clearing the misfires, do you mean clearing the misfire codes? Is there a code for the low compression or have you done a compression test already?

See how to do a compression test here:

And some possible reasons for low compression here:

Please let us know,

Cleaning the valves is what I meant, sorry about that. I used a walnut blaster. Prior to that they changed all injectors, all new plugs and coils. Did a compression check and a leak down test but found it inconclusive as the result did not help. Air was coming out of the adjacent cylinder. So, I’m not sure. I’m suspecting mechanical issues but my question, could it be individual lifter?

Sounds like the valve was not completely closed. For each cylinder you will need to make sure the valve is closed before you do a leak down, or it will blow out the exhaust/intake. There will be an acceptable amount of leakage indicated on the dial. In any case, what were your psi readings for the compression test?

The first time 145 psi, 145 psi, 25 psi, 145 psi. I tried to get TDC as best I could but I'm not sure what happened.

Yikes, that does make me wonder what happened to the valves during cleaning. I would definitely take the head off and check the valves for seating issues. If the compression is that low and your leak down test fails because air is audibly going somewhere else, there may be some damage during the disassembly or reassembly, possibly during the cleaning process. Please double check this and let us know, and don't forget pictures, we would love to see!
