Coming home from work the other day my van started to make a loud whistling sound.I've had no loss of power and no smoke coming from the engine. So far all air pipes,air box and exhaust have been checked and are not leaking and the turbine has also been lookd at and has no play in it and seems sound.the only thing that makes any difference to the noise is if you take the waste gate pipe of the accelerator which seems to make the sound dissappear. Have you got any ideas on what the problem is as I'm out of ideas. Maby a problem with the wast gate control unit which is attached to the side of the air box???
