After hearing the noise from the rear from the rear passenger tire, I pulled over thinking it was flat. However, it seemed till I pushed on the tire. It has some play in it almost as if the lug nuts are not fully tightened down yet they don't budge when I try to tighten them. Is this a tie rod or ball joint issue?

Hi,

It sounds like the rear hub bearing has failed. This needs attention before driving.

If you look below (pic 1) it explains how to check the bearing. In picture 2, I highlighted the bearing I'm referring to.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

joe

Hi,

No problem whatsoever. If you have a chance, let me know what you find. I'm interested in knowing if that is the issue. If it is, I can walk you through replacing it.

Take care,

Joe
