Loud ticking

There is a loud tick tick tick and it will not stay charged. It sounds like the front of the engine maybe a little to the right. Please help I am trying to restore my baby.

I accidentally put 1.2L meant to put 2.2L.

if it is not charging it may be the alternator doing both giving the ticking noise and maybe bad. It can also be a bad belt doing the noise. best to have a local mechanic look at it for ticking noise. auto parts can check alternator. Of course that is assuming battery is good as well.
