Highway driving when I'm at 2,500 RPMs, usually at about 70 to 80 kph, the engine noise is bearable, though still loud by usual standards.
I'm in Australia, and in most places, the freeway speed is 100 kph, which drives the car to 250 revs. This is where the trouble starts. The engine is loud! It's so loud, i can't hear the radio.
I bought this car recently as a zip around. I don't know if this is normal for this car, which is a 4WD. For context, the engine oil has been changed and i check it regularly.
Should i be concerned?
I sometimes drive my son's Subaru Outback, which is roughly the same age, but it's so silent, I'm jealous!
