Loud bang

I got a new coil pack two days ago, drove it yesterday and it was fine, today I took it out my driveway and within minutes I heard a very loud bang! I turned it around and parked. After twenty minutes my husband took it a run around the estate, he said it ran fine and no bang!
I am scared to drive it.

we do not have that car here in US, but it may have been a backfire go ahead and drive it if hubby already said it is okay.
