So I was installing the thermostat housing and dropped the left screw down onto the engine block but now can’t find it anywhere.

You can always try using a telescoping magnet to trying fishing all around the area to get it. I've attached a picture of what it looks like.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Have you tried rocking the truck as hard as you can? Maybe look around the exhaust manifold area.Thanks again for using 2CarPros.
