I lost the keys to my car then paid to have John's lock and key come out and make me a new set of keys. They brought the new keys, but they could not cold the keys to the car. Took the car to Pat McGrath Chrysler Dodge dealership. They did a thorough diagnostic of the whole car and determined that the PCM ECU was why? They could not communicate with the car to program the new keys that I needed the PCM ECU repair and that Chrysler no longer made that part.

Good morning,

I do no think the PCM will resolve the key issue but they need to communicate with the system in order to program the keys.

If they feel the PCM is the issue, then that will have to be done before attempting to program the key.
