It started when I lost power to the fuse panel inside my vehicle located on the drivers side. I checked fuses and wires from battery to main fuse box under the hood. In wiggling wires and checking every fuse under the hood and inside somehow I regained power to the inside fuse panel. But now my compass/temperature panel located on the inside of the roof. Above my rear view mirror has stopped working. I have rechecked fuses and still no power to it. How do I regain the power to it? Thanks, Jason

Sounds like you will need to pull that fuse box out and plug the feed wire to the EVIC back in. It plugs into a socket on the back of that fuse panel. You will also discover that it is a loose or burnt main feed wire to that panel that caused it to lose power. Have had to repair two of the three Blazers I have owned for that same issue. The contact gets a bit of corrosion, that causes higher resistance and that causes more heat and it fails. I generally replace the connector, clean the contact and apply some dielectric grease and make sure they have good connections. Then reassemble.

Thank you Steve. I am learning new quarks this Blazer is starting to have. It is one of the many electrical nightmares I have encountered. I will try what you recommend right away. Thank's for the advice I will get back to you when I am done to let you know how it worked out.

I found the wiring diagrams for you and a guide to help you test for power and to check the grounds.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run this test and get back to us.
