I was driving my car to Atlanta and about half way there it started to have trouble accelerating. We stopped at a shop. Guy looked over the engine and could not find anything. We could not afford to hang out trying to find it so we finished the drive. The car could not drive uphill it had trouble accelerating. Would almost stall out in first gear and just run badly. I got it home and now I cannot get it out of my driveway. It had what sounded like an exhaust leak. Then a high pitched whistle. I had catalytic converters replaced in June. Plugs and wires with new packs done less than a month ago. Replaced them again when this started happening. Fuel pump is working and seems to be pushing enough fuel. Did the timing two months ago. Cleaned EGR, throttle body and MAF. It is not throwing any codes. I am baffled. Usually this car is a trooper!

Even new parts can be/ go bad.

I would have a shop check the catalytic converters again.
