Loss of power to some electrical components

Hi,

First, the interesting thing about this is that every component not working has a different power supply. The chances of several fuses for different circuits to blow at the same time is really slim.

I decided to check for ground distribution to see if there was a tie in to the things you mentioned, and there is. Behind the left kick panel (where your left foot would touch when sitting in the driver's seat) there will be several white wires with a black tracer and one orange wire all going to the same ground (G200). See pic 1. I have a feeling that grounding location has failed. The only way to check is to remove the left kick panel, locate the wires and where the bolt to the body of the vehicle, and inspect them to make sure nothing has broken, corroded, or come loose.

The panel is being referred to as the cowl side trim board in pic 2. It will be behind the brake pedal.

Let me know what you find. Please keep in mind, electrical issues can be somewhat difficult to locate, so bear with me. At this point, the ground is the only thing that is making sense to me.

Thank you for your prompt response. I remove the kick panel I did not see an orange wire but there were a couple of grounds with black wires attached to them that all appeared to be in good condition and tight and no wires appear to be exposed

Were the wires white with a black tracer or solid black? I'm asking because the wiring schematic is showing something different. Also, the orange wire may not be there. It was for an optional component.

That is interesting. I'm not sure why the schematic is different. Is there possibly another bundle of wires that match what I sent you?

I didn't suspect a fuse issue, but I better ask. Have you checked them?

Took it to the shop today they say it was a single ten amp fuse that blew. Got home and it did the same thing. Called them he told me it's my phone charger in the cigarette lighter causing it. That thing has been in there for almost a year and no problem. taking it back in the morning and he is going to replace the fuse and show me which one. I will keep you posted.

That's interesting. The cigarette lighter and power outlets have nothing to do with the things that stopped working. I attached a pic below that shows a 7.5 amp fuse for the power outlets.

If you could, please let me know which fuse he replaces and where it's located? I'm really interested in knowing.
