Loss of Compression

My car broke down recently and was diagnosed as having no compression on the #4 cylinder. I went to a local Subaru service center but I think the quote for repair they provided was high. Anyone here have an idea of what this should cost? Located in NJ.

I tdepends on what is wrong if it's a piston or valve then it will be high but if a head gasket it won't be so high like maybe around $1500-1800
