Loses power up hills

I do have one other question. When I bought the car it had a power problem when I got up hill it loses power and when I try to take off in first gear it feel like it wants to shut off and it's real sluggish. Can you help?

Hi,

The idea that it loses power and nearly stalls when starting out could be a few things. Low fuel pressure, engine vacuum leaks, a partially plugged catalytic converter can all cause these symptoms.

Here is what I suggest. First, check for diagnostic trouble codes. This vehicle has an OBD2 diagnostic system that can be scanned to retrieve codes. This will point us in the right direction.
