steering wheel will not turn

After replacing the steering ECU you will need to INITIALIZE ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR AND CALIBRATE TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT. For this procedure you need a compatible scan tool but I believe you may have another issue?

Why did you replace the gear and ECU? If it was for a hard steering then you may have misdiagnosis the problem? First thing to check is the 80 AMP EPS fuse to see if it blew out? If that is ok then check ALL YOUR FUSES RELATED TO ECU!!!

If the ECU module has no power you will not have steering. If your checks are ok then you would need to check all your wiring and you would need to verify your power and grounds are ok to the ECU.

If the task is overwhelming then I would recommend you take it in to a professional or your nearest dealership. Let us know what you find or if you need wiring diagrams for diagnosis.

Thaks for your suggest. The reason that we replace new power steering because the car was locked when owner came back the car and he called another mechanic, then i dont know how did he repair and the car not lock. But turning steering wheel is hard. Then owner called us to tow his car to us garage. We checked and requested to replace power steering and ecu because the mechanic damaged it before.we have checked CAN and related. We changed gateway ecu and power steering ecu. But it's the same. We checked 80 amp eps fuse like you said and related to ecu. So i need some solutions. Thanks you so much.

So is the steering hard to turn or is the steering column locked where you can not turn the wheel at all?

Well it sounds like the steering column lock will not unlock. If you have a compatible scanner you should see some codes in the steering lock ECU and see parameters to verify the ECU is sending the signal to unlock?

If you do not have that capability then I would recommend you sublet the repair to a shop that has the right equipment for it. Also since you did repairs with the rack you still need to do the zero point calibration.

There is no any problem code. And i finded a problem related momen sensor jack..but im not sure. Can you give me suggest

When looking at the steering lock ecu can you see if the inlock command is been sent to the lock. If it is then the lock will most likely be your failing part.

You would need to inspect the wiring first to make sure the harness has not been damaged or chaffing.

can you let me know what can i inspect??because i had inspected electronic system and CAN wireless carefull .

As stated on earlier post, you need to liok at your data for steering lock module to verify that the unlock command is being sent. Can you see that data?
