Long crank before starting

The car has a long crank before it could start or spray the air filter with a quick start spray. What could be a problem?

Hello, I'm Danny.

First thing you should check is to see if you have sufficient fuel pressure.Might be a weak/failing fuel pump. If you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester most auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one.Here is a tutorial showing what's involved for testing:
