lockset replaced

Did you program the new keys into the system? Unless they are programmed in the security system won't allow the car to run.

I took a complete lockset key,ignition ring,cluster,and computer from a accident damaged vehicle with 4678 miles on the cluster plugged everything in but the light on the new cluster came on the one with the spanner came on flashing and no crank

It still has to be programmed to the vehicle. Wrong VIN in any part that reports in and it won't run, On that car that would be multiple modules, like the fuel pump module, SRS module, entertainment, ABS/traction control, even the smart fuse box. All are VIN matched, when the key gets turned the ECM calls all the modules for the numbers and to run self tests. If ANY of the numbers don't match it won't run. Those are the joys of modern vehicles.

Any way of doing it myself?

Not without a dealer level scan tool that can write in the correct VIN number, plus you need the access to the corporate site to get the correct listing of as built items to be sure you wrote to them all. Makes it a bear to repair some vehicles these days. It started back in the early 1990's and has steadily gotten worse. Then there were three to four computer modules talking, these days you can have thirty to one hundred processors on board and they keep adding them!

A lot of tread say that it has to do with the ignition barrel and switch anyway of testing it. but like i am saying there is no crank on the key should it not at least turn over when you turn the key.

Not if the immobilizer tripped. Some trip and turn off the starter and ignition, others turn off the fuel and ignition but will still crank, others just turn off the fuel. Depends on which way they set them up. That is another reason the high dollar scan tool is needed, you can watch the systems as they power up and pinpoint the modules that have problems.

Any idea why it does the light thing and the relay left down ontop of the fuses make noise when light thing happened scanned the car found 2 codes080A00 and C12100 it starts now idle ok

It's possessed.... LOL. I would run a charging system check, It looks like the higher rpm is making the generator either generate a high or low voltage. Could be belt slippage or some internal issue in the unit itself. The ECM sees the voltage drop or spike and turns the lights on in response. Stick a volt meter on it and it should show the voltage issue either way when you rev it up.

I also experienced the same on a chev sonic as @GIDEONROESTOFF the car does not start at all even the ignition is not swinging - so, what would be the corrective action in this regard?
