Well the enine check light has come on and it pointed after a obd2 check its the eg valve.
After some investingation it would appear the valve is stuck in the open position.
Weather this is a carbon build up problem or and electrical problem is yet to be discovered.
Ive looked online to try and find the location of the egr valve in question.
Then i got under the car took the shields off and couldnt find it on the back of the engine as most people have been suggesting.
I looked under the air flow box too and folowed the exhasut pipe to another item but it turnes out to be the throttle body.
My queation is do ypu have pictures or explainations of where it could be.
Ive found the egr cooler under the dpf but havent had time to explore futher any help would be appreciated.
