My truck listed above is giving me a fit!! It stalls out at lights and stop signs and has a difficult time turning over to get going again. I have replaced the alternator, starter, battery, 2 coil packs, all the spark plugs and had the oil changed and it’s still doing. Replacing this sensor is a friend’s suggestion but I can’t find it. Every Google search shows a 2015. Help.

Hi,

The sensor is at the rear of the engine where the transmission bolts to the engine (passenger side).

You need to remove the right front wheel and inner fender to access it. Also, it needs to be programmed once installed. For that, a scan tool is needed.

I attached the directions below for replacing it. The last pic shows its location. When you replace this, take your time. I would suggest taking a wire brush and cleaning around it and then spraying it with a penetrating fluid. They corrode/rust and can be difficult to remove. Work it back and forth to remove it.

Before installing the new one, clean the area where it will be installed and make sure to oil the o-ring to prevent damage to it.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
