Good morning,

The car does not have a mass airflow sensor. It uses a MAP sensor in place. I attached a picture of the location for you.

What is the issue that makes you think you need a mass airflow sensor?

The car is idling rough and when I hook up the PCV hose it shuts off.Without it hooked up it runs fine. The timing belt and water pump were recently changed. Just put a new throttle position sensor in and have a new PCV valve to install. The codes being thrown were mass air flow sensor, throttle position sensor and thermostat sensor with a random misfire.

I looked at another diagram on here and it is showing a mass air flow sensor by air pump motor and air pump relay. I'm lost.

Okay, thanks.

Again, there is no mass air flow listed for your car in our information system.

Once I get the codes, I can further help.

Do I have a mass air flow sensor. I can't seem to locate it. I am having hesitation upon acceleration and was told to clean the sensor. Check air filter and use fuel injector cleaner. I have also changed my plugs and wires

Chrysler is the only manufacturer that has never needed or used a mass air flow sensor to make their engines run right on their domestic models. The main fuel metering calculations come from the MAP, manifold absolute pressure sensor. That is a fancy name for a vacuum sensor.

According to our database, you don't have a maf sensor, but, you do have a map sensor. Did you check for applicable codes? You should be able to get some codes by cycling the ignition switch. You turn key just till the dash lites come on, no further. Cycle the key on--off, on---off, on, then the mil on the dash starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.

The basics for a rough idle,is to check for a leak of some kind, fuel--egr--vacuum, something like that. Go from there.
