Hi,

I am in the US and the Holden isn't offered here. However, I believe it to be the same vehicle as the Chevrolet Cruze here. With that, the information I have is for the Chevy Cruze. It should be the same.

The air temperature actuator is located behind the left side of the instrument panel and mounted on the HVAC box. See picture 1. I circled a picture of the actuator. Pic 2 shows the actuator being removed and picture 3 are the directions.

Additionally, here is a link that explains in general how one is replaced:

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Thanks for your kind response. My car is right hand driven and hence would your instruction vary? Also after dismantling the dash on the left side (passenger side) I can clearly see the blower motor so is this actuator on the left or right side of the blower motor, and can I access this without removing the trim. Also I am unable to open the first picture. Your kind response would be appreciated. Thanks, Ali

That will change location. LOL I will have to assume that since it is right hand drive, it will be opposite of what I said. Most likely, the covering under the dash will need removed. I'm sorry, I don't know if they are exactly the same.

I reattached the picture from above. If you still can't open it, let me know. I highlighted this time.

Take care and let me know.

Thanks, I can now open the first picture. I believe it is the top-down view and if so what gears are shown below the highlighted actuator.

Hi,

Those are internal and can't be seen from the outside of the HVAC box. The pic just shows where they are located.

Let me know how things work out for you

Take care,
Joe
