Daytime running lights went out and there was a click sound at time lights went out. In addition to the daytime running lights I also lost lights in the dash, tail light, above tag, gear shift, dash board, I have checked all fuses and they are good. I have had fuse boxes checked as well and power going to all fuses. Are there any additional fuse boxes in addition to the 2 under the hood and 2 inside car on driver and passenger sides? Is there a "brain" or central location for light power source? We pulled light bulb from tail light and when we stuck volt meter in there was no power going to the tail lights and the tailgate console lights are not on. I have all other lights except for those mentioned.

I am also having the transmission and alternator checked today.

Hello,

The brain you are talking about is the drivers side multiplex control module. which controls both system you are talking about. Here is the location so you can replace it.

Driver's Multiplex Control Unit behind left end of dash.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

When you say behind left end of dash are you referring to the driver side or passenger side. And just to be clear this control unit is something in addition to the 2 fuse boxes located on driver and passenger side?
