Code P0190, where is the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor located?

It says the sensor is on the top left rear of the engine which should be on or near the fuel rail. This is what it looks like. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

So from my understanding, I may need a specialized tool to disconnect it? If this is true, could you perhaps link one or say if there's a more common tool that could be substituted?

If there is a fuel line connected to it then yes you need to remove it, this video can help:

If not and it is bolted to the fuel rail you will be okay to remove it.

So finally got the part, replaced it, and now the car has a constant p1000 code. It cranks but won't start.

So you replaced the part and now it wont run, did it run before? If so it sounds like you have a defective part.

Last time I worked on it, (before replacing the part) it started after about 3 tries, ran for a few minutes, then died and refused to start again. Although it of course did not have the p1000 code until after this part replacement.

Does it have any other codes besides the p1000? You could have a defective PCM. Please go over this guide

It does not have any further codes besides the p1000 no. As for symptoms, the engine when turning over sounds as if it may not be receiving fuel? I cannot accurately listen for the fuel pump when inserting the key either, due to the CD player making a 'fun' noise for a while after insertion of the ignition key. The last symptom I can remember is the low battery light being on the entire time, as I had to try to jump the car with another running vehicle due to its battery being flat out dead and not holding charge.

The CD player can make the battery go dead fyi. Lets use this video to show you how to see if the fuel pump is working or not.

So the engine begins to start and runs for as long as starter is sprayed into the intake (a few seconds). This would mean the issue is in the fuel delivery correct? If this is the issue, it's likely the fuel pump yes?

Yes, but I would check the inertia switch as well which is at the right side kick panel. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

This switch is a safety feature, it cuts power to the fuel pump when in an accident. Push the button on top of it to reset it. It is behind the right side kick panel.

Where exactly is that located?

It is behind the right side kick panel. Have you removed the panel? The panel is on the right side footwell rear the door
