Hi Guys! I have a 1995 Lincoln Town Car Cartier with 125,000 miles. The problem is that the air conditioner will not function in hot weather. It doesn't matter if the car itself (the engine) is hot from running, or cold from sitting overnight, if the weather is hot (80-85 degrees plus?, I'm not sure at exactly what the outside temperature is when this happens) the compressor will not engage. However, when the weather is cooler the AC works great, nice and cold. I gauged the refridgerant level and that read right where it should, the interior controls (fan, thermostat (it has the digital climate control system where you can set the degrees), etc. all work fine, and the heater works fine. What could be causing the problem? Thank you very much.
