I have a 99 lincoln towncar and it starts but i have to give it gas constantly for it to stay running and a guy I work with told me it could be the mass air flow sensor so I changed that and I'm still having the same problem do you have any suggestions

If you need to step on the gas to get it started and keep it running it is probably not the mass air sensor but the IAC (idle air controll) valve. It is mounted close to the mass air sensor you just replaced.
