someone told me that is was not a good idea to flush my transmission. they said when they did there lincoln town car (1994) that the transmission started to slip ..how true is this??

i think that is just coincidence, there has been alleged,(none that i've seen) documentation however, that tranny 's that have never been flushed, tend to run better, untouched than if they did do a flush, but I dont believe in that, just doesnt make sense nor has it happened to me or anyone i've been associated with
