The air conditioner is not putting out very cold air and I came across a web site that states thieir system will retrofit my AC system.
It is called Freeze 12 which is compatible with mineral,ester and PAG oils. This replaces R-12 or 134a systems and works with existing lubricants.
They have a Quick Charge kit for $60.00 which contains 3 cans of Freeze 12, 1 Freeze 12 (can tap), 1 charging hose,1 pair of
high and low side service port fittings which fit directly ove R12 fittings and a label
I don't know if this info helps but I could use a little input becaus one mechanic said there is nothing you could do. I thought you could at least convet over to q 134 system if the cost wasn.t prohibitive.
