The windshield wipers park vertically when turned off or set on delay. Someone suggested the sprage assembly may need to be replaced? I consider this a safety hazzard. Please help? Thank You.

Has any work ever been done to them? Sounds like the motor assembly will need to be replaced, dont think you can get the individual parts of the motor assembly, just the whole thing

Nothings been done to them since i've owned the car. A friend of mine has a '92 Grand Marquis and a '95 Cougar. The same problem has cropped up on both of his cars. According to him, only the sprage assembly had to be replaced. However, this was several years ago.
If a sprage assembly isn't available, what would the price range be for the motor assembly? Thanks Again, Trent

If you can get it that will be much cheaper. Price depends on where you get it, dealer or aftermarket, should be around 100
