1992 Lincoln Town Car wipers freeze

hey,i recently brouht a 1992 town car the wipers freeze.it takes for ever just to go up and even longer to come back down even if the speed is fast it pauses as it goes up and when comming back down.what should i do?thank you.

Replace the wiper motor, remove the wiper arms, remove the plastic cowl on drivers side remove the transmission from motor, remove motor. Buy at a store that give liftime warranty, like autozone, you will need the coverage, my 98 has gone thru 3 so far!
