1992 Lincoln Town Car drivers door won't close

1992 Lincoln Town Car 6 cyl Automatic 168000 miles

I have to lift up on the door and bump the panel of the door in order to shut the drivers side door. It is really hard from the inside. any idea as to what this could be??
