My car is getting kinda up there in years so what type oil and thickness do you think I should use? Could you also tell me how much it would take to change the oil with filter change also?

Even though you have high mileage I personally would suggest 10W 30 motor oil -Valvoline/ GTX / Quaker State or other well known brands.

Commonly a "complete" oil change would be around $25.00 and often they will advertise "Valvoline"
