Will a driver side air bag deployment shut an engine of a 98 lincoln signiture in an accident?

Yes! if the inertia switch is tripped, it will cut the fuel supply. Look in your trunk for the switch, I think it's on theleft side, on the side near the trunk hinge, press the button down, then try it!
