My 2006 Lincoln Navigator is misfiring; a week ago I accidentally put in approximately a 1/2 gallon of regular, upon realizing my mistake I immediately changed to the premium that I usually use. I'm sure that fuel has burned out by this point. At any rate,
I took the car for its 60,000 mile service, and had my spark plugs changed but the vehicle is still misfiring. Any suggestions?

Hi riffith976 and TY for the donation

Following below will cause misfires:

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
