2002 Lincoln Navigator 140000 miles

My air bags in the rear of my car will not hold my car up anymore. Is there a cheaper fix for this than buying a new air suspension system? I am blown away by the prices from the Lincoln dealer.

They sell kits to convert it over to springs if you want but the same company also has aftermarket replacement air bags too.

Here are a couple of links

I strongly recommend using Strutmasters. My mother in law had the same problem with her Lincoln, and they fixed it. It was a pretty simple thing to do and I'm pretty sure they guarantee their products for life. Never heard of Suncore, but I do hear a lot of great things about Strutmasters.

I have used Suncore myself and they sell a good product too so compare what they have to offer.

Converting the air springs to conventional setup can save on cost and extra complexities. Keep in mind that the ride quality will be different with a conversion.

I have attached the factory air spring replacement procedure, for anyone who might be looking for those instructions.
