transmission fluid is leaking and is yellow in color.
Yellow!!! Tranny also slips and shudders a bit.
Ive only had the car for 300 miles so cant give you
history.

yellow tranny fluid often indicates water/coolant being mixed into the tranny fluid. the most likely culprit would be a faulty transmission cooler. if the cooler is OK then the next thing to check would be the rear seal, may be worn and allowing coolant to mix into tranny that way.
