do you have an ohm meter , if so i would suggest checking the module and the harness for high resistance , there are other things to check but whe you said the module was unplugged you were getting a brighter light i was thinking a shorted circuit in the module

you can do some basic testing befor you buy one if you have a test light , you can pull the connector and check the harness for power , dirt and corrosion , plug it back in and check power on the module side , let me know what happens

Hi Jim, I used the test light as you said and have power on both sides,I now have the fire but now up to next trouble,I have fire at the plugs, and I have fule to the throttle body, but it will not start,I can crank it over push in the pressure relief valve and it will spray gas to the fender crank it over again and the pressure is right rack up " BUT " it will not start,IF I put some gas in the throttle body it will start right up and run till I turn it off the it will start a few times the back to a no start unless I put gas in it myself, something is not telling it to give it that first shot of gas to start,I have been fighting this for so long its really making me nuts.

I read the gas cap could cause a no0 start ?? if it is the cap, will trying it with NO cap tell me if the cap is bad or do you need a cap to start.
