I just had one replaced, it cost me $500. and I continue to see smoke out of the drivers side of the hood. They replaced two spark plugs they claimed may have been "oily" too.

The dealer was going to charge me $550.00. I decided to do it myself. The RH & LH gasket kits cost $102.00, so I saved $448.00 by doing it myself. It can be done with regular hand tools, but is very time consuming. It took me approx. 9 hours by myself. A dealer could do it quicker though. This was my first time on my 2001 LS.
