windshield wipers will not work

Six cylinder four wheel drive automatic 87,000 miles

wipers do not work. I replaced motor, replaced wiper relay, checked all fuses in passenger kick panel. windshield washer not working. friends car three visits still nothing. obtained a schematic, little knowledge of this, saw a wiper run/park relay. would that cause wipers to not work? preparing my friend for expense of wiper switch on steering column. any suggestions? help! thanks
