2002 Lincoln LS power window

My power window fuse keeps blowing whenever my window either gets all the way to the top or all the way to the bottom. My window regulator broke, so I bought and replaced the entire unit (with motor) from Autozone. After installing the new unit, I find this fuse blowing problem. The original window problem was a broken nylon pulley that the cable passed through. I had to replace the entire regulator (which included a motor). The original Lincoln motor will not fit the Autozone regulator. I'm not sure if the problem is with a bad Autozone motor (that's part of the new regulator assembly) or did I pinch a wire causing a short? I'm not sure how to search for a short. I visually double checked all my harnesses inside the door and could not locate anything that might look like a pinched wire that's grounding out.
