2002 Lincoln LS fuel filter

My car started sputtering when accelerating after leaving from a traffic light. I think the fuel filter may be clogged and would like to chnage it but... I can" seem to loactwe the filter. I am handy and could change the filter if it is accessible and servicable by the owner. Thank you

Its behind the drivers side inner fender well linerl. A couple screws and a few plastic rivets hold the liner in,removing the tire gives you some xtra working room.
