Which side of the engine is bank one?

I Checked the engine computer and it said it is running rich,also my oxygen sensor,bank 2,section 1 is bad.My question is :does the bad oxygen sensor make the engine run rich? And which side is bank 2 and which one is section 1?
it is a Lincoln LS,2001 with 3.9 V8 engine,130000 miles.A reponse will be very much appreciated.Thank you.

yes, a faulty O2 sensor can cause lean & rich fuel issues..the passenger side of the engine is the bank 2. section 1 will be the sensor located before the catayltic converter.

Thank you very much bluelightnin6,also I'm a little confused now,auto zone tell me that bank 2 is on the driver side,what you think?

Passengers side will be bank 1.. Whichever side of engine that cylinder 1 is located on is bank 1, other side is bank 2. Diagram below shows that your vehicle's cylinder 1 is located the passenger side.

So sorry about that, the arrow had me confused haha. You are correct, it is passenger side .
