Will not start, just cranks and here what I have done so far: good fuel pressure(36psi), good spark on all plugs, timing is correct, no fuel in the cylinders. Only 5.4 Volts on common side wires to all fuel injectors. Is the ECM bad? Or one or more of the injectors are bad? appreciate any suggestions.

before you put money to an ecm, remove the fuel rail and make sure it is not clogged. it's more common than you might think.

Should it be 12Vdc for these common wires (Yellow) ? I disconnected the connector to the ECM and the reading from these wires are 12Vdc. So, it is not the injectors, is it some kind of short in the ECM?

im not sure of the voltage but try this. put a long screw driver to your ear and listen to each injector. have someone crank the engine. you should hear each injector clicking. if they do they are fine.

none of the injector fired when the engine was cranking. I replaced ECM and still did not start. I checked the fuel return line and there was plenty of gas coming out. I had 35PSI of fuel pressure between the filter and the injectors. I also replaced the ignition coil and the result was the same, not start. How do I make the injectors fired?
Thanks.

I checked the trouble code and I got 12 as the number. It is air flow sensor. Does it prevent the engine from starting when I fails? Thanks.

if the ecm doesn't see any air flow it may shut off the fuel supply. also if the code is not related to this particular problem check crank sensor and cam sensor.they tell the ecm to send the ground pulse to the injectors. you can test this with a noid light plugged in to the injector connector. the light will blink if the signal is being sent. and yes 5v is good at the injectors, this is ecm voltage.

chevy350guy, thanks for your suggestions. I found the problem that caused the failure of the injectors. The common wire to all of the injectors was corroded. I fixed the broken wire and worked like a champ. Again thanks for the inputs.
