my interior lights come on and off repeatedly when car is shut off, draining battery

Had this problem with 2001 Linc Continental. Problem was corrosion on contacts of drivers door exterior keypad. Replaced keypad and solved problem. Condensation tends to develop inside keypad causing the corrosion.
