2000 Lincoln Continental V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

2000 lincoln continental high beams do not come on. low beams work fine. when you use the switch the low beams turn off, the indicator light on the dashboard for high beams is on but the high beams do not turn on. what is the problem?

Hey Ag6800,

It sounds like the fuse has gone out but you should check the bulbs themselves becasue they have a separate filament for the high beams. Here is a wiring diagram and fuse locations to help you find the problem.

Also there is a lighting control module that might be bad, check all of the fuses listed below in the diagram.
