What kind of temperatures are there?

If freezing cold, clean the weatherstripping and spray with silicone.

There are switches in the door latches that allow the coutesy lights to go on and off by the door opening and closing.

Many of the ford products can be cured by soaking the latches with a thin lubricant such as wd-40. After sprayuing them open and close eash door10-20 times to work the mechanism.

IF this doesn't work, then the bad latch needs to be diagnosed.
