My Continental has 19400 miles on it and runs like a champ until the other day. It had over heated. The fans were working okay but it wouldn't blow any hot air through the heater. I checked the fluid level and it was okay, so I assumed it was probably the thermostat. I figured I would replace it and see since it is not a very expensive part. The problem is I can't seem to find the thermostat anywhere. I have asked a few people and they all say follow the top hose to the engine. I still can't find it. Is there a different location or am I blind? Is there different size thermostats? The one I have looks too big to go anywhere near the hose attatchment.
